THE WORLD’S FIRST 3RD GENERATION ISOFIX CAR SEAT WITH FOUR GLOBAL PATENTS.
Jané has revealed a pioneering car seat that takes ISOFIX safety to a new level and features four new patented technologies. Officially one of the safest car seats on the market, Jané’s EXO is challenging industry perceptions of ISOFIX car seats.

Most safety seats now use the ISOFIX system, allowing the seat to simply fasten to the chassis of the vehicle. ISOFIX devices minimise the car seat’s movement in the event of an impact, reducing the risk of serious injury by up to 22%.

REDUCING IMPACT BY 4G’S
Jané’s EXO, 3rd generation ISOFIX, goes a stage further introducing an exclusive Pneumatic Absorption System (PAS) with pneumatic piston that absorbs the energy of the impact and reduces the force of an impact by up to 4Gs when compared to conventional ISOFIX car seats.

In the event of an accident, car seats experience the G-force; reducing this in turn reduces the potential G-force to the passenger, minimising potential injury. The EXO’s patented shock absorption system does just this, absorbing a high percentage of the impact to cushion and smooth out the blow.

ARE YOU SITTING COMFORTABLY?
Many people worry about fitting their baby’s car seat, with some 70% installing the seat incorrectly without realising. In response, Jané has developed another world first to equip the EXO with an automatic Electronic Warning System (EWS) which clearly indicates whether the seat is fitted correctly, or incorrectly. Lights built into the front panel of the seat will change from red to green and an audible warning system will sound.

The system activates automatically during the installation of the car seat using ISOFIX, giving you the additional reassurance when initially fitting the system, and also if you wish, by pressing the “TEST” button, you can at any time simply double check it is still correctly installed at the beginning of every journey.

PATENTS FOR HARNESSING SYSTEMS
Further patents boasted by the EXO include a new harness tension system that tightens across the abdominal strap in the event of an accident. This one-pull harness tensioner cuts down displacement much more effectively than the shoulder strap technology employed by other car seats.

An all-in-one adjustment for harness and belt attachments completes the list of new patents. This system automatically adjusts the EXO’s shoulder and crotch straps when the height of the headrest is altered, ensuring maximum security and comfort for your baby.

When adjusting the headrests height, the system will automatically adjust the shoulder straps and as the headrest is raised for a growing child, the crotch strap will automatically move outwards, giving more space for a boy.

HEALTH & SAFETY
Jané recognises that babies’ health is as important as safety and these latest technologies ensure that EXO is secure and comfortable whilst helping with babies’ pulmonary movement.

EXO is compatible with ALL cars. The majority of cars manufactured today have ISOFIX points and users should check car manuals to see if the vehicle is suitable for ‘Universal ISOFIX Child seats. For older cars without ISOFIX points, EXO can simply be secured with the lap and diagonal seat belt.
