TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 Delivery Schedule

We offer free delivery within 3 working days on items in stock (most items will be despatched next day delivery) on all orders over £75.00. Most items are sent by Interlink Express and we cover UK Mainland (including Highlands). For offshore/international orders please telephone for delivery charges. Smaller items will be sent by Royal Mail. SOME LARGER ITEMS SUCH AS FURNTIURE MAY BE SUBJECT TO A DELIVERY CHARGE AND THIS WILL BE STATED ON THE GENERAL DESCRIPTION OR AT THE CHECKOUT PROCESS.

If an item is not in stock then a longer timescale will apply to delivery normally between 7-10 days (however sometimes this may be slightly longer). If an item is not in stock we will contact you by email or telephone to let you know. You can then decide if you wish us to proceed with your order.

Once an order has been processed and despatched we are unable to cancel and return costs are at your expense.  We require at least 24 hours notice in writing of any cancellations before they are dispatched.

If your goods do not arrive within 3 working days of despatch notification please contact us or e-mail and we will contact the couriers.

When you receive your goods, it is important that you inspect them before signing for the delivery. If you are suspicious that the goods are damaged, or the box containing the goods looks badly damaged, then you should sign for them as "unchecked" or ask the courier to wait while you examine the goods. In this event, please contact us immediately so that we can resolve the situation with our courier. It is important that all original packaging is kept until you are satisfied with the goods and are sure that they will not need to be returned. Couriers will not accept goods if it is not in its original packaging.

Please check your item immediately for any manufacturing faults or defects and report to us within 3 working days. If a part is missing, damaged or broken, there is usually no need to send the whole item back. Contact us and we will send any item(s) to you free of charge the next working day (whenever possible).

These statements do not affect your statutory rights.

 Failure to Deliver Due to Refusal or Not Being in to Sign For your Goods

You will need to sign for the majority of items despatched by us. If you are not in when the Postman or Courier calls to deliver, they will leave a card which will inform you of how to arrange collection or re-delivery of the item. It is important that you contact their office as soon as possible (and in any case, within 3 days). In the event of a Courier item being returned to us by either yourself refusing delivery or failing to respond to the "sorry we missed you card" Interlink's returns charges are £20.00 upto 20 kilos and 40p per kilo thereafter. Please note that in the event of an item being returned to us due to non-delivery, we will not despatch replacement items whilst the item is still "in transit". Please note Baby Boom 2000 reserve the right to cancel any returned orders.

 Your right To Cancel

Under the Distance Selling Regulations you have the right to cancel your order and claim a full refund at any time after you place your order but 24 hours before the item is dispatched and up to seven working days after you receive the goods. You have the right to cancel your order within 7 days of receiving your goods. If you wish to cancel your order you must contact us by e-mail, fax or letter so that we have documented proof for both parties to obtain a returns authorisation number. Please note that delivery charges will not be refunded and in the case of free delivery a charge of £10 for goods upto 10kg and £20 for goods over 10kg will be deducted from any refunds to cover delivery and administration fees. The customer will be responsible for returning the goods to us at their own expense. We suggest you use registered post or courier as we are not responsible for goods that may get lost in transit to us.

In the case of an item being specially ordered in for yourselves there will be a cancellation fee of 10% of the total amount plus the fees as specified above.

 

Returns

In the unlikely event you need to return anything to us, please send an e-mail to our customer care department, orders@abyboom2000.co.uk Please give as much detail as possible in the e-mail in case we can resolve the problem to your full satisfaction without yourselves having to return the goods. If it is necessary to return the goods we will e-mail you a returns number. Please enclose a copy of this e-mail with the returned goods

Please do not return any item without first contacting our customer care department for a returns number otherwise we will not be able to deal with your claim.

If any goods are returned unwanted or incorrectly ordered by you, we will either exchange or refund provided that all goods are returned in their original packaging, unused and in a perfect, saleable condition within 7 days with original receipt enclosed. However, no carriage refunds can be given. In the case of free delivery a charge of £10 for goods upto 10kg and £20 for goods over 10kg will be deducted from any refunds to cover delivery and administration fees. The customer will be responsible for returning the goods to us at their own expense.  Guarantees & Warranty Information

All items purchased are covered by a 6 months guarantee unless otherwise stated.

If any goods are returned which you feel are faulty , and covered by the manufacturers warranty, these must be returned to us for inspection, together with your purchase receipt. If it is found to be a genuine fault of manufacture (not accidental damage, misuse, abuse, neglect, normal wear and tear, something that can be adjusted, or a part that can be changed), we will offer a refund or exchange within the statutory 28 days after delivery .

If a manufacturing fault occurs after 28 days but within the 6 month guarantee period we will repair goods or send spares free of charge. In all cases you must obtain a returns number before sending any item back. We only operate a collections service for warranty claims within 28 days of the delivery date

If any goods are returned claiming to be faulty which we regard as not being covered by the manufacturers warranty, we will contact you to inform you of this. In this event, you will be liable for all postage costs and also the cost of repair or replacement parts which will will inform you of.

Your statutory rights are not affected by this manufacturers guarantee and warranty policy.

 

 

Descriptions of Goods

We take all reasonable care to ensure all descriptions and details of products are correct at the time of submission to the website but due to updates in design and specifications these may change. Any images shown are intended as a guide only to assist you with your selection. Please note that all colours, weights and measurements are only approximate and we reserve the right to alter or amend any prices or specifications without prior notice. Please note colours may vary to that shown on the website. Representations of colours are approximate, due to the limitations of different photographic devices and also the callibration.

 Acceptance of order

The contract in respect of the products supplied by us to you comes into existence when your order has been accepted by us. For the avoidance of doubt, receipt of an order via our Site does not constitute acceptance of an order.
